As a graduate of PIA, you are automatically a member of our alumni community – there are no dues to pay. As a member of the PIA family, you join the ranks of over 20,000 PIA graduates located in the United States and throughout the world.

Many alumni ask how they can stay involved after they graduate from PIA. Here are some of the many opportunities and services that are available to you as a PIA graduate:

  • Refer a prospective student
  • Attend programs and events on campus or in your area
  • Support the Memorial Scholarship Fund and help others
  • Share your good news with classmates in the next issue of PIA’s newsletter, The Technician
  • Notify the Placement Office of changes in your address and business information
  • Contact the Registrar’s Office for an official transcript
  • Contact the Placement Office for ongoing placement assistance
  • Contact the Placement Office to assist current students with career networking opportunities
  • Request a list of transfer/articulation agreements between PIA and other institutions
  • Show your pride in PIA by shopping online at PIA’s bookstore, which offers a variety of PIA items for sale

    PIA took me from my high school days of just "getting by" and passing the time until school was over, to preparing for an industry where school never ends. I recieved my A&P license in 1981, and went to work for Allegheny Commuter in Youngstown, OH, then Parkersburg, WV. Five years later I moved to Minneapolis, MN, to work for Northwest in the wheels and brakes shop. After finding out the real meaning of winter, I returned to the 'Burgh and USAir as it was called. I spent 18 years...
