This continuing education offering is derived from two PIA courses that specialize in working with metallic structures. This hands-on course of study introduces the learner to the art of forming metal and expands upon the practical aspects of sheet metal construction and repair. Topics addressed include:

    PIA took me from my high school days of just "getting by" and passing the time until school was over, to preparing for an industry where school never ends. I recieved my A&P license in 1981, and went to work for Allegheny Commuter in Youngstown, OH, then Parkersburg, WV. Five years later I moved to Minneapolis, MN, to work for Northwest in the wheels and brakes shop.
