PIA's airport location provides an ideal atmosphere for aviation training as well as aircraft accessibility to the school's facilities.

From Erie and Points North:
Follow I-79 S and from the NORTHWEST travel the PA TURNPIKE (I-76) to the CRANBERRY exit to I-79 S. Follow I-79 S to I-279 S until you are almost into the city. Get onto I-579 S (VETERAN'S BRIDGE). Follow I-579 S to the LIBERTY BRIDGE. Cross the LIBERTY BRIDGE, get in the RIGHT lane and go through the LIBERTY TUNNEL. Bear RIGHT onto the ramp at the end of the tunnels onto ROUTE 51 S. **From here, Follow Directions 'N&W'**
From Weirton, WV and Points West:
Travel I-376 E toward PITTSBURGH. Take Exti 69 B to 51 S toward UNIONTOWN, just before going through the FORT PITT BRIDGE TUNNELS, stay in the FAR RIGHT lane to exit. **From here, Follow Directions 'N&W'**
From Morgantown, WV and Points South:
Travel I-79 N to I-70 E. Travel approximately 35 miles and exit off to ROUTE 51 N. Continue NORTH on ROUTE 51 for approx. 17 miles to PLEASNT HILLS. **From here, Follow Directions 'S&E'**
From Harrisburg and Points East:
Travel the PA TURNPIKE (I-76 W) to the NEW STANTON exit. Then follow I-70 W and exit onto ROUT 51 N to PLEASANT HILLS. **From here, Follow Directions 'S&E'**
****N&W--Right after you see CVS just up the hill you will go under an overpass and make the SECOND RIGHT by following signs for McKEESPORT-YELLOW BELT and ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT. You should now be on LEBANON CHURCH ROAD. The ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT is located approximately 2 miles straight ahead on LEBANON CHURCH ROAD. Make a LEFT at the next red light into the AIRPORT.
****S&E--You will pass Southland Shopping Center on your right and Century III Mall on your right. Get in the RIGHT lane. BEAR RIGHT onto LEBANON CHURCH ROAD by following signs to McKEESPORT (ROUTE 885 YELLOW BELT) and the ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT. The ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT is located approximately 2 miles straight ahead on LEBANON CHURCH ROAD. Make a LEFT into the ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT.
