PIA Students Win Awards
Apr 30, 2012Hagerstown Branch Campus Student, Adam Keuler, is the 2012 NBAA TRACS recipient for the "Citation II Maintenance Initial Course" provided at the CAE Simuflite Training Center in Dallas, TX.

"For me, aviation A & P's are unsung heroes; the skills that it takes to maintain, revive, refurbish, and care for an aircraft are not skills that can be appreciated by the general public. The pride I feel as I prepare to enter into this is incomparable to any other experience thus far. I have spent years rotating through a career field which has left me unsatisfied and unfulfilled; I've always believed that I had more to offer but wasn't sure exactly what it was. At 34, after delving into other opportunities, my love for aviation and aircraft maintenance has come full-circle; this is my future....it is my passion." - Keuler
Pittsburgh Campus Student, Matthew Cavanaugh,is the 2012 NBAA Maintenance TRACS recipient for the "Composite Structures Fabrication and Damage Repair (phase 1). He will have a five day course sponsored by Abaris Training Resources.

" I plan to bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Once I put my time in with the company, I plan to advance in my field and help to keep the company at the top in the industry. Most importantly, I will strive to keep my work environment safe and help to support a positive atmosphere."- Cavanaugh
