High School Students
High school students and recent graduates have many career options to consider for their future. If you enjoy working with your hands and solving problems, aviation technician training may be a great career option for you.
The training at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is built around a curriculum that focuses on hands-on projects that mirror the work students may complete as aviation technicians in the industry. Qualified faculty present thorough instruction as they blend their practical experience with new information and techniques.
The demand for aviation technicians continues to rise as current technicians reach retirement age. Our faculty work to ensure our students are well trained and prepared to enter the workforce as certificated aviation technicians. PIA offers aviation technician training at four locations: Pittsburgh, PA: Hagerstown, MD; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Youngstown, OH.
