Military students bring a variety of skillsets and experience to their aviation technician training. Aviation technicians have dynamic opportunities which include commercial aviation, medical transport, military, space and much more.

The training at PIA provides a military student with hands-on learning through projects that mirror the work students will complete as aviation technicians. Qualified faculty present thorough instruction as they blend their practical experience with new information and techniques.

At PIA, we have students joining our program from every stage of life interested in an exciting career.

An aviation technician is essential to every flight. As an aviation technician, you will be part of a team of technicians who make the aircraft safe for passengers and crew.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR AVIATION TRAINING

Aviation technicians are in high demand due to the industry shortage caused by current technicians reaching retirement age and less people pursuing careers in technical trade. Those positions need to be filled by well trained, safety focused aviation technicians.

Technological advancements continue to create more opportunity within the aviation industry. The projected growth for aviation technician positions is 11% by 2030, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

No previous training or experience is required for you to find your purpose at PIA. Review our admission requirements to learn more.
