[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Since its inception in June 2020, MHIRJ has become an ever-present employer at PIA campuses, actively recruiting for their two Service Centers in Bridgeport, WV, and Tucson, AZ. MHIRJ is the result of the acquisition of the CRJ Series Program by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and combines the immense engineering knowledge and capacity of one of the world’s largest industrial conglomerates with the world’s most successful regional aircraft program. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries acquired the maintenance, engineering, airworthiness certification support, refurbishment, asset management, marketing, and sales activities of the CRJ Series program last year. The CRJ Series has become a workhorse for the regional aviation industry with more than 1,300 aircraft currently in service around the World.
With a $20 million facility expansion currently being built, the organization is seeking more than 200 qualified aircraft mechanics to fill roles at both facilities.
As a valuable partner, MHIRJ invited members of PIA to tour their facility last week and discussed strengthening the relationship between the organizations.
“We are honored to have begun a relationship with this organization,” says Mindy Pavilonis, Associate Director of Career Services at PIA, “We are thrilled that over 40 PIA graduates have been able to begin their careers at MHIRJ!”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”“”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
“PIA has become a very important source of talented team members for MHIRJ.” Anthony Hinton, Head of Service Centres for MHIRJ said. “The graduates that come to MHIRJ from PIA are highly skilled and immediately become valued members of our team delivering the highest quality services for our customers. PIA does a terrific job in preparing the students for their careers in aviation.”
