[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Since its inception in June 2020, MHIRJ has become an ever-present employer at PIA campuses, actively recruiting for their two Service Centers in Bridgeport, WV, and Tucson, AZ.  MHIRJ is the result of the acquisition of the CRJ Series Program by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and combines the immense engineering knowledge and capacity of one of the world’s largest industrial conglomerates with the world’s most successful regional aircraft program.  Mitsubishi Heavy Industries acquired the maintenance, engineering, airworthiness certification support, refurbishment, asset management, marketing, and sales activities of the CRJ Series program last year.  The CRJ Series has become a workhorse for the regional aviation industry with more than 1,300 aircraft currently in service around the World.

With a $20 million facility expansion currently being built, the organization is seeking more than 200 qualified aircraft mechanics to fill roles at both facilities.

As a valuable partner, MHIRJ invited members of PIA to tour their facility last week and discussed strengthening the relationship between the organizations.
