EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
HAGERSTOWN, MD – More than 80 interviews were conducted Wednesday, October 12 during PIA Hagerstown’s Career Fair.
25 employers attended the fair, 4 of which were new attendees from the helicopter maintenance sector, which doesn’t typically hire entry-level Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technicians, showing a shift in hiring needs.
“It was a great day for our students and the employers who attended. I heard so many compliments about the professionalism of our students from employers. The halls have been buzzing ever since with conversations about different employers, which is always exciting to hear,” Janet Heim, Hagerstown Campus Coordinator.
2 students accepted job offers with CommuteAir for Dulles Airport (IAD). “It is always a pleasure to work with you and your students, and we’re super excited about [them] starting with us,” said Kwasi Bandoh, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, Non-Crew for CommuteAir.
PIA grads continue to find in-demand careers using their training from PIA.
