PIA’s alternative training are designed to provide verifiable behind the wheel training hours to individuals who currently hold a CDL license, who have not driven professionally under employment of a carrier for 6 months or more. Often times, companies require these licensed individuals to take CDL refresher courses to verify the individual is still a safe, competent CDL driver for their hiring purposes. Individuals planning to take a refresher course should contact admissions to discuss which alternative training option is best suited for the individual to ultimately gain employment.
