Myrtle Beach Student Named Scholarship Winner

Third-semester student James Hiott is one of five recipients of a scholarship thanks to the late Reid Garrison and the South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA).

The scholarship was available to South Carolina residents pursuing careers in aviation.  The scholarships from SCAA that are awarded this year were made possible thanks to the generous donations of the Garrison family.  Garrison was inducted into the SCAA Hall of Fame in 2015 thanks to his extensive contributions to South Carolina’s aviation industry.
