PIA featured in Pittsburgh Business Times Rankingkbaker
Pittsburgh Business Times recently compiled two rankings featuring Pennsylvania colleges. The data, pulled from the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecards, compared the median earnings of former students 10 years after being admitted to their schools.
When compared locally to Southwestern Pennsylvania Colleges, PIA was ranked #3, with median earnings for former students 10 years after admission of $57,200. Only Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University outranked PIA, landing the 2nd and 1st spots, respectively. That median salary also earned PIA the #18 spot when compared to colleges across the state. The rankings included traditional four-year institutions, technical and trade schools, as well as community colleges.
The College Scorecards, where the information for the ranking was compiled from, features detailed information regarding the performance of colleges, universities, and technical schools around the country where students may be eligible to receive federal financial aid.
