PIA Myrtle Beach Wins the Barfield Pitot-Static Event in the School Category

Congratulations to Angel Vasquez and Zack Smith from PIA Team Myrtle Beach, sponsored by Myrtle Air Services, for coming in with the fastest time in the school category for the Barfield Pitot-Static Event at the 2018 Aerospace Maintenance Competition. This event was designed to test the skills of each participating team in their understanding of and ability to troubleshoot an aircraft Pitot-Static system.

In addition to getting the fastest time in the school category, the team has earned the Myrtle Beach Campus a new Barfield Pitot-Static Tester with training, valued at over $11,000.
