PIA Pack-A-Plane event collects toys to support the Marine Toys for Tots Program
For the 3rd consecutive year, PIA students, faculty and staff have been generous in donating new, unwrapped toys the Marine Toys for Tots Program.
The Pack A Plane event is led by Derek Vrabel, PIA Pittsburgh’s Student Services Coordinator. The goal is to fill the King Air on campus with as many toys as possible. Vrabel began collecting the toy donations on November 1.
“It is always such an honor to work with the Toys for Tots program,” said Vrabel. “The success we continue to have only serves to add to the joy of the project and of the Holiday Season.”
PIA plans to continue growing the Pack A Plane event to assist more local families each year.
