UNDERSTANDING YOUR AVIATION TRAINING

Aviation technicians are in high demand due to the industry shortage caused by current technicians reaching retirement age and less people pursuing careers in technical trade. Those positions need to be filled by well trained, safety focused aviation technicians.

Technological advancements continue to create more opportunity within the aviation industry. The projected growth for aviation technician positions is 11% by 2030, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

No previous training or experience is required for you to find your purpose at PIA. Review our admission requirements to learn more.

The training at PIA emphasizes hands-on learning through projects that mirror the work students may complete as aviation technicians.

Skilled faculty present thorough instruction as they blend their practical experience with new information and techniques.

The length of your aviation technician training depends on your program of choice and training location. PIA’s mission is to provide high quality training in a short amount of time. Click here to view our training options and locations.
