Scholarship Opportunity: Aviation Council of PennsylvaniaEdward Molek
The Aviation Council of Pennsylvania is offering a scholarship to assist applicants in their attainment of their aviation career goals. Scholarship award levels range from $500 to $1,000 per scholarship.
Scholarships are available in the following categories:
AVIATION TECHNOLOGY – Includes airframe and powerplant maintenance, avionics, and aerospace engineering
AVIATION MANAGEMENT (the Wilfred M. “Wiley” Post Scholarship) – Includes management of airlines, airports, FBOs, flight schools, and air traffic control
PROFESSIONAL PILOT (the John W. “Reds” Macfarlane and the Arnold Palmer Scholarships) – Includes training for career opportunities related to actually flying aircraft
Eligibility: Applicants must be Pennsylvania residents. Applicants may attend school outside of Pennsylvania. Applicant may be enrolled in any of the following: a two- or four-year college program, a master’s degree program, a flight training program, or an aviation technology program. Applicants for the Professional Pilot Scholarship shall hold at least a Student Pilot Certificate and have soloed an aircraft.
