STUDENTS LOOK TO CAREER FAIR FOR INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITIES

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – More than 60 interviews were conducted Wednesday, October 26 during PIA Youngstown’s Career Fair.

Students had the opportunity to interact with recruiters from 17 employers including Endeavor Air, Republic Airways, and Gulfstream.

“The high demand for aviation mechanics in the industry brings a variety of employers to our career fairs. Students and alumni had the opportunity to speak to companies from all over the United States,” said Carrie Grimes, Campus Coordinator at PIA Youngstown. “Every company in attendance is hiring for multiple locations, so you can imagine the competitive nature of the demand. These students have numerous opportunities in front of them.” – Carrie Grimes, Branch Campus Coordinator

“Great resource to explore your opportunities and find what fits you best.” – Sawyer Farbotnik, student

The onsite interviews led to multiple job offers and follow-up interviews for current students.
