Three PIA Students Receive Scholarships at the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance Conference

While attending the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) Conference, three PIA students were awarded scholarships.

  • Ash Howard, Pittsburgh Campus, was awarded the $1,416 PIA Scholarship through AWAM.
  • Erilyn Machesky, Pittsburgh Campus, was awarded the $5,000 Republic Airways Opportunity Elevated Scholarship.
  • Shirley Wu, Myrtle Beach Campus, was awarded the $2,500 Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines/Horizon Air Tuition Scholarship. In addition, SkyWest Airlines paid in full for her conference registration, travel, and meals.
