U.S. Congressman Scott Perry visited PIA Pittsburgh last Friday as part of his tour of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Congressman Perry serves Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
During his visit, Perry met with PIA Administration to discuss the nature of programs at PIA and the essential role that aviation technicians play in the wellbeing of the industry. Perry, a Military Veteran, has qualifications in several rotary-wing aircraft himself. Congressman Perry also serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. On his website, the Congressman iterates his views on the importance of transportation and infrastructure, stating, “This vast and critical infrastructure impacts the lives of every one of us on a daily basis and is essential to maintaining our economic vitality and identity as the United States of America.”
PIA looks forward to hosting the Congressman again in the future.
