Youngstown Students Awarded Bill Griffin Memorial Scholarship

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Ernie Hall Aviation Museum in Warren, Ohio awarded two fourth-semester students with scholarships on Monday, May 3rd.  Troy Lindsay and Ryan Pentz were presented with the Bill Griffin Memorial Scholarship by Bob and Connor Griffin, brother and son of the late Bill Griffin.  The recipients are able to use the scholarship towards tuition, books and supplies, or testing fees as they near graduation from the Youngstown Campus.

The scholarship hopes to promote careers in the field of aviation, and asked applicants to write a short essay on why they are passionate about the industry.  Both Mr. Griffin, the founder of the museum, and Mr. Hall, the namesake of the museum, were devoted to the aviation industry.  Griffin established the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum in 2013 and organized the Wings-n-Wheels air and car shows in Trumbull County.

Congratulations to Mr. Lindsay and Mr. Pentz on their awards!
